CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING

The Montana Organic Association is presenting a much-anticipated annual conference in Missoula Montana for organic farmers, consumers, retailers and friends. It will take place on November 5th thru November 6th at the Holiday Inn at the Park. We’d like to extend an invitation for you to join us as a Sponsor.

What is very exciting for this year’s annual conference is our keynote speaker, Maria Rodale, who is the CEO and Chairman of Rodale Inc., the world’s leading multimedia company with a focus on health, wellness, and the environment, and the largest independent book publisher in the United States. Rodale is the granddaughter of J.I. Rodale who is considered to be one of the founders of the organic agriculture movement in the United States.  Rodale Inc. reaches 70 million people worldwide through brands such as Prevention and Men’s Health; through books such as The South Beach Diet and Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth; and through numerous digital properties. Ms. Rodale is founding editor of the company’s newest online venture, Rodale.com, which features the latest news and information about healthy living on a healthy planet, as well as her blog, "Maria's Farm Country Kitchen." Ms. Rodale is the author of three books. Her most recent work is titled Organic Manifesto: How Organic Farming Can Heal Our Planet, Feed the World, and Keep Us Safe. Organic Manifesto cuts through the confusion and misinformation to provide an indispensable and highly readable look at why chemical-free farming unquestionably holds the key to better health for our families—and the planet.  Her book will be the basis of her conference on Friday evening, November 5th and will be followed by a book-signing and social gathering.

In addition to this keynote speaker event, a day-long conference will follow on Saturday, November 6th, which will include a plenary panel session with Ms. Rodale as well as six educational sessions on varying topics of interest to organic farmers, consumers and retailer as well as a luncheon speech from the Montana Department of Agricultur.e

We are looking for sponsors for this organic event. Sponsors will have a ¼ page black and white ad and your company or organization's logo in the program, and recognition on promotional materials for the event and on the Montana Organic Association website here. Sponsor names and logos will also be displayed and recognized at the conference.  Sponsorship also includes one full event registration and organic meal prepared by the hotel chef (a $20 value). We are offering you this opportunity to sponsor this gathering of Montana’s organic community for $250. For an additional $30 we can also provide a table for educational information, or $280 total. The deadline for all sponsorship ads/logos and advertising is October 19, 2010.

Even if you cannot attend this year’s conference, please still consider advertising your business or organization and supporting MOA as a Sponsor. This event is an effective means to reach a vital group of organic farmers, consumers and retailers and organic food enthusiasts.

For more information, phone Jeff Schahczenski at (406) 494-8636 or email him here.

2009 Conference participant, Matt Johnson from Hinsdale, sums up his experience: “MOA’s Conferences are the best way to stay on top of important organic issues and developments in the industry.” Be a part of this must-attend organic event and spread the word about your essential products and services.

We hope to see you there.
